Prior to co-founding Authority Logistics, Hannegan, devoted over 25 years of his career to one logistics company. That company is currently known as Titan Global Distribution, Inc. (Titan), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc. From 2011 to early 2016, Hannegan was its vice president and general manager. In this role, he held the top leadership position providing the overall strategic direction and business development growth for the organization. He successfully led the turn-around efforts bringing the company back to sustained profitability, recovering from the recession in 2009.

Prior to his appointment as vice president and general manager, Hannegan served as the company’s vice president of finance from 1998 to 2011. He oversaw various functions including finance, accounting, information technology, billing, payroll, human resources and risk management. As a member of the senior management team, he guided the company thru the rapid growth subsequent to its purchase by Hospitality Worldwide Services in 1998 and the acquisition of its assets by Atlas World Group, Inc. in 2004.

Hannegan began his career in the logistics industry as assistant controller in 1991, when Titan was known as Bekins Distribution Services Co., Inc. (Bekins). He was promoted to controller later that same year. During the nineties, he established the company’s 1st IT network and assisted in the sale of the company to Hospitality Worldwide Services in 1998. His contributions earned him a promotion to vice president of finance.

Prior to joining Bekins, Hannegan was an auditor for 3.5 years in the Middle Market practice of KPMG Peat Marwick in St. Louis. He is a certified public accountant with memberships in the Missouri Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

 

 

Mike Schafer

Prior to co-founding Authority Logistics, Schafer has over 14 years of experience in the logistics/freight industry, with over 12 years of third party freight management in the hospitality/store fixture sector and over 2 years of LTL freight sales.

From 2004 to early 2016, Schafer worked at a company currently known as Titan Global Distribution, Inc. (Titan), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc., where he was promoted in 2006 as Director of Logistics. In this role, he developed strong leadership skills, business knowledge, and built numerous customer and vendor relationships. Schafer helped increase freight revenue and vast operational success throughout his time with Titan.

From mid-2011 to late 2013, Schafer worked with a company currently known as ABF Freight as an Account Manager. In this role, he developed the necessary sales skills and relationship building skills. Schafer helped increase revenue and suggested numerous supply chain solutions for customers to complete their projects on time.

Prior to 2004, Schafer started his freight career with Audit Logistics, LLC. (Audit), as a Project Manager. In this role, he was the first employee and helped start up the company. From 2002, he managed multiple successful freight hospitality projects, bringing them under budget, and helped finish them on time. He gained initial business knowledge, and built numerous relationships throughout his time with Audit.

Schafer’s reputation in the hospitality industry is based on integrity, dedication, honesty and hard work.

 

 

Tiffany Bollinger
Principal - Warehousing

Prior to co-founding Authority Logistics, Bollinger was employed for over a decade by Titan Global Distribution, Inc. (Titan), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc. From 2014 to 2016, she worked as the Director of Hospitality, with a specialization in warehousing. In this role, Bollinger managed department operations and headed the effort to create an updated Warehouse Management System (WMS) using available technology. From this, her team experienced gains in efficiency and, as a direct result, increased profitability.

Prior to her appointment as Director of Hospitality, Bollinger served as the company’s Manager in the Hospitality Department from 2010 to 2014. She oversaw negotiation of rates, preparation of bid packages and evaluation of potential gross profit in the hospitality warehousing sector. Bollinger successfully guided her team in their efforts to build a scope of work and rate structure tailored to fit each individual customer’s needs.

Bollinger began her career in the logistics industry as a Customer Service Representative in 2003, when Titan was known as Bekins Distribution Services Co., Inc. (Bekins). During the years 2003 to 2010, she managed a high-volume workload within a deadline-driven environment while still playing a pivotal role in the development of new operational procedures. The substantial growth of her department, increasing accuracy of bids, and positive comments from new and existing customers earned her a promotion to Manager.

Prior to joining Bekins, Bollinger attended Southeast Missouri State University from 1999 to 2003. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.). Bollinger maintained an impressive 4.0 GPA and graduated with the distinctive honor of Summa Cum Laude.
